About Us

Eight Foot Llama publishes board and card games for the hobby/adventure market.  These are full-color boxed complete games – they are not collectible, expandable or customizable – everything you need to play is always included.  Sometimes our games have been labeled “Euro-style” in that they are suitable for families, take under an hour to play and involve more strategy than luck or guesswork.

We got our start in 2001 with the release of Who Stole Ed’s Pants, which was named by Games Magazine as the runner-up Best Family Card Game of the Year.  You can read all about that game and the others we’ve put out since then in our Products section.

Our games are in hobby stores across the USA and are also distributed internationally.  Check our retailer list for a store near you, and if you know of a store we should add to the list, please send us an email.  If you can’t find a place to buy our games, you can also purchase them directly from this site.

Retailers, there is also a section for you that summarizes our distributors and product information.

Look for our booth at some of the major conventions, such as Origins, Gencon and Spiel.
