Who Stole Ed's Pants?

Frame your opponents for pant theft!

Who Stole Ed's Pants? is a light-hearted yet strategic card game for 3-4 players.  Rally your supporters as case facts change, evidence is planted and witnesses falter.  It's a mind-bending travesty of justice.

Sold out!!

Background

Never one to clamor for attention, Ed was happy to ignore the embarrassing theft of his pants and just climb into bed.

But today, he awakens to find that word of the crime is all over town, and everyone is eager to point fingers.  Rumors are flying.  Wild accusations are made at the drop of a hat.  And the police will arrest anyone  at all  just to quell the uproar.

You need to make sure the mobs don’t come after you.  Better yet, plant some evidence on your friends and drop hints as to their less-than-stellar character.  Anything goes, because in all the excitement, no one has even bothered to ask Ed the details of the crime.  If you can keep your own nose clean, you might even get the credit for turning in the thief of Ed’s pants.

But you’ll need supporters to back you up.  Fortunately, there’s plenty of townsfolk who owe you favors and government officials who need allies.  Plus, the circus is in town.  Choose your friends wisely, because the wrong acquaintances can make you a target...

Game Overview

Players spend much of the game planting Evidence Cards on each other -- things like where people were seen yesterday, what they look like, and when they were unnaccounted for. Your goal is to change the case facts so that the evidence on everyone else is incriminating, while the evidence on you is not. For example, if the case fact says the thief is believed to own bizarre footwear, you want to be sure that the Inflatable Rodeo Clown Shoes card ends up on someone else.

Cards are played by having credible witnesses back up your story -- people from around town like the Pool Guy, the Head Librarian, and the Human Cannonball. However, their credibility can change during the game too, and players must make sure they have good allies at all times.
